| Purity test |
| Take a piece of the foam you wish to test and place it on a hard, flat surface. Press
the foam with thumb for a few seconds and release it. If the foam recovers
immediately and the mark disappears (as shown in the figure no: I), then the foam
is pure. If the foam recovers slowly and the nail mark remains visible for a long time
(as shown in figure no: 2), the foam is of poor quality, most probably filled with
low-cost fillers. |
